To Painters For Wood Elf Nobles
Thunderboltbolt Mountain needs your help. Harbringer Magazine wants to do an article featuring our new Wood Elves. The problem is that we don't have any painted images of the nobles to send them. If you send us pictures of your painted Wood Elf Nobles, we will post them on our web page as well as submit them to Harbringer magazine for possible publication in their Issue #11.
AND.... Every person that submits pictures of the painted nobles to us receives their choice of the pre-release Elven Lady, Human, or Goblin. These figures are not going to be available generally through our website until September. (However, we will be offering them as a special convention item at Origins and GenCon).
The deadline for picture submission is June 23rd so get your paints ready to answer the call of the Elves.
Tom's Design Notes on the Wood Elf Lady
in the elf line, the other figures made so far have been designed primarily
as battlefield troops. I have not specifically given her a weapon but I left
her right hand open to hold one if you wish. When the nobles in traveling
clothes are released there will be both foot and mounted versions. Her
design motif is flowers rather than leaves, in this case hawthorn, her
clothing a soft, silky material rather than buckskin, except for her boots,
of course.
